NEW GUITAR
After 15 years with my Ovation round back guitar I am looking at buying a new one. I actually have been looking for a while. Saturday, I sat down at a shop here in Indianapolis and played about a dozen guitars before I picked up an Ibanez Montage. The guitar has a few different modes from pure acoustic using the Piezo pickup to a clean electric using the magnetic pickup and a blend of both but it also has onboard DSP for distortion, chorus and reverb as well as phase canceling, dual notch filter and tuner. I know some of you who aren’t guitar players or musicians are surely saying, “Huh?” Sorry about that. I’ll just say, it is a really cool guitar. It is also very affordable (in the $600 category). I feel pretty confident that I will secure one of these by the fall. Now I just need to decide on a color. Keep in mind that my Ovation is black.

Hey man! I’ve gotten a little more “classic” when it comes to finishes, so I voted for the Violin finish. My Les Paul Studio is Root Beer Finish with gold hardware. One day, I’d like to add a Telecaster in a Cherry Sunburst or Natural with a pearl pickguard. Do you even care about all of this? LOL Keep in touch dude!!!! Gotta hear from T-Loc-C sometime!

Without doubt, Ovation Guitar is one of the best guitars available in the market today. I have some at home, I pertecem since I started my band (the garage!), But is following me. Today we have 15 years of road, and always on the side of my Ovation Guitar.
The latter bought a site with many interesting offers (I’l leave the link for you guys: http://bit.ly/nKC7F ). Today, my last purchase on this site was a Custom Elite, for a great price!

I have owned, and do own, Many Ovation. But I just bought a Red Montage off of eBay… So I chose the Red for you.
(I was looking at a Vintage Violin finish, but it ended and I missed it.)
I have not played a Montage, but I guess that I will learn next week or so.

Hey Old Man Arthur – I picked the red one as well! Absolutely love it!!! Also recently purchased a Hofner Violin Bass which I’d highly recommend if you ever need a bass guitar! And don’t worry, I still have my Ovation!!!
